[monkeys] While on this trek, we had the unbelievable fortune to spot a group of snub-nosed monkeys. These primates are very endangered, so to see them in the wild is incredibly rare.
Our guide advised us to to be quiet and tried to capture a few photos of these elusive animals. So, we paused our journey and stayed for a short while to gaze upon these rare animals.
-what they are doing
They were very endearing. The primates were eating food together and grooming each other. They looked like an amiable and well-bonded family.
-reaction
[action]We remained very quiet, silent in fact and ensured that we do not stay too close to them so we would not startle them and cause them to flee.
[felt]I was in awe and enraptured by the uttered beauty of the creatures before me.
It was a moment that I shall hold dearly for the rest of my life.

-what
Okay, I’m going to talk about a time when I needed to use imagination.
[meeting]It was when I was a primary school student, at that time we would have a class meeting once a week. And each time, we would have a discussion around a topic.
[mayor]I remember one day, in the meeting, we were required to use our imagination to talk about our desired career path. And I was chosen by the teacher to speak on the stage. After 2 minutes of preparation, I said to my classmates that I want to be a mayor, which is unexpected to them.
-why
To tell you the truth, talking about our future plan definitely requires imagination cuz you need to use your limited knowledge and experience to make up things that have never occurred.
-difficulties
The difficulties lie in how to describe your desired profession and what would you do if you achieve it.
[mayor]I said I’m kind of person who is environmentally conscious and want to combat the effects of climate change. So, If could be a mayor, I would have a goal to leave a smaller carbon footprint and create a green paradise of “urban forests”.
[do] I would make some policies to build more parks and gardens, which makes the city more pedestrian and biker-friendly. In addition, I would limit the number of automobiles that are permitted to enter the city center. Of course, I would remove some on-street parking places to make room for sidewalks and bike lanes.
-felt
When I finished my speech, I heard my classmates applauding for me. At that time, I felt so proud of myself, as I was encouraging a greener and healthier way of transport:riding, which makes the city a better and beautiful place to live in. I think this is my way to make contributions to our planet.

[do] I would make some policies to build more parks and gardens, which makes the city more pedestrian and biker-friendly. In addition, I would limit the number of automobiles that are permitted to enter the city center. Of course, I would remove some on-street parking places to make room for sidewalks and bike lanes.
-why difficult
[difficult]It goes without saying that whether it is becoming a civil servant or promotion to mayor, it must be an incredibly difficult task. First, I have to pass an annual recruitment examination. And the acceptance rate of certain positions are rather low, which means hundreds of people will have to compete for one position. The difficulty of such a situation is plain to see.

Twenty years have passed since I knew him. Now, he is our mayor and not long ago I met him in the coffee shop accidentally.

He told me that in order to combat the effects of climate change, our city was going to embrace a greener approach to urban planning in the future. But he was in two minds about what specific policies he should make.
So, I gave him some advice.
First, the goal was to leave a smaller carbon footprint and create a green paradise of “urban forests”.
Second, we need to build more parks and gardens, which makes the city more pedestrian and biker-friendly. In addition, we should limit the number of automobiles that are permitted to enter the city center. Of course, it was also reasonable to remove some on-street parking places to make room for sidewalks and bike lanes.

[geography]To tell you the truth, it was when I was 14 years old, in my geography teacher’s class, I learned that nowadays, there was an incredibly serious traffic and air quality problem in my city.
[collected]After that class, I investigated and collected some related information and realized that the most effective way to protect the environment of our city is to be a mayor.
-what
[mayor]Moving on to what kinds of work I will do when I become a mayor, I must say I will build more parks and gardens to make our city more pedestrian and rider-friendly.
In addition, I will limit the number of automobiles that are permitted to enter the city center.
Of course, I will remove some on-street parking places to make more room for sidewalks and bike lanes.
-felt
Finally, in terms of what I felt about changing my plan…
[felt]I just felt so proud of myself, as becoming a mayor is a far more difficult task than being a member of green groups.
Furthermore, I was encouraging a greener and healthier way of transport:riding, which makes the city a better and beautiful place to live in. I think this is my way to make contributions to our planet.
